Adult Social Care Safeguarding Report
Healthwatch Nottingham and Nottinghamshire carried out this review to understand how safeguarding services were experienced across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. The project gathered feedback from local people and professionals to identify what was working well, the challenges people faced, and how safeguarding arrangements could be strengthened.
The review found that safeguarding was generally seen as an important responsibility across organisations, but there were opportunities to improve public awareness, communication and partnership working. Participants highlighted the need for clearer information, better support for people involved in safeguarding processes, and greater consistency in how services work together.
