Enter and View: The Oaks and Little Oaks Care Home
Healthwatch Nottingham and Nottinghamshire visited The Oaks and Little Oaks Care Home to understand what life is like for residents and to observe the quality of care, environment, and day-to-day experience. The visit focused on whether residents felt safe, how staff supported people, and how well the environment met the needs of people living there, including those with dementia. Overall, the home was described as calm and settled, with positive feedback about staff and general care.

Recommendations

- Maintain and strengthen resident and relative feedback processes so concerns and ideas lead to visible action
