Over 250

people have supported us over the past 10 years, helping to improve local health and care services.

What is Healthwatch?

Healthwatch Nottingham & Nottinghamshire is the local independent patient and public champion.  We hold local health and care leaders to account for providing excellent care by making sure they communicate and engage with local people, clearly and meaningfully and that they are transparent in their decision making. We gather and represent the views of those who use health and social care services, particularly those whose voice is not often listened to. We use this information to make recommendations to those who have the power to make change happen.

Would Healthwatch be a good fit for you?
Are you passionate about improving local health and social care services? Want to ensure people's voices are heard and help influence better services in your community? If so, volunteering with Healthwatch could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.

Why volunteer with Healthwatch?
Our volunteers play a vital role in helping people share their views on health and social care. Volunteering with us offers the chance to develop skills, gain experience, and make a real difference. No qualifications are required—training and support will be provided, and any out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed.

Volunteers are invited to monthly meetings, and we are always available to answer questions or address concerns. You can choose how much time to commit and can get involved in roles across both Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County.
